Authorities have identified a man killed in a two vehicle accident Thursday as that of 45 year-old Lavone Humphrey, of Floyd County. Reports said that the wreck occurred on Highway 100 at Worsham Road between Summerville and Coosa.
Humphrey was the pastor at Calhoun Avenue Baptist Church. He had also served as the pastor of West Summerville Baptist Church.
Charges are pending against the other driver, who was also seriously injured
