Gordon County deputy sheriffs and other emergency personnel were dispatched to a private residence on Millers Ferry Road in unincorporated, southwestern Gordon County in response to a report of a serious, off-road, motorcycle accident involving a juvenile over the weekend.
The accident took place in a wooded area on private property. The teen aged victim was removed from the scene by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and subsequently pronounced dead at Gordon Hospital.
Sheriff Ralston said, “ This was a terrible tragedy. Our hearts go out to the family of the young man who lost his life. Please remember his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.”
