Gordon Central High School has named Cory Nix as its new head football coach.
Nix comes from Temple, where he severed as defensive coordinator last season.
Last year Temple finished with a record of 6-4, which included a 56-7 win over Armuchee.
Nix also coached at Roswell before coming to Temple.
