Jason Lewis Reeves, 34 of Rockmart, was arrested after he allegedly hit a 24 year-old woman in the mouth at a location on Highway 27 and Booze Mountain Road in Rome.
Reports added that the victim’s four year-old son was present when the attack occurred.
Reeves is charged with simple battery and cruelty to children.
