A 28 year-old homeless Rome woman, Mary Roe Swopshire, was arrested Tuesday at Schroders in Armuchee after she allegedly was found with stolen checks and another’s debit card.
Reports stated that Swopshire attempted to cash checks that were stolen at both O’Reiley’s Auto Parts and Schroder’s New Deli on Martha Berry Highway Tuesday.
Reports added that she also attempted to use a debit card that belonged to someone else.
Swopshire is charged with fourth degree forgery, theft by receiving stolen property and identity fraud.
