Allen Lee Compton , 55 of Rome, was arrested this week on a drug charge after police pulled him over for driving on an expired tag.
Report stated that during the traffic stop the officer spotted a pipe that contained suspected cocaine inside.
Compton is charged with possession of cocaine and failure to appear.
