Mays High School head football coach Corey Jarvis was fired this week after an investigation uncovered that thousands of dollars belonging to his team had gone missing and that he had physical confrontations with a parent and school visitor.
Reports stated that over $10,000 belonging to the Mays football program had gone unaccounted for
A tribunal ruled last month that Jarvis had neglected his duties, been insubordinate and acted immorally.
Jarvis was placed on paid leave earlier this year.
The school board voted 5-4 to fire Jarvis.
