Authorities said that Eleanor Early Holstein, 59 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after slamming her truck into a tree on Horseleg Creek Road.
Reports stated that Holstein was driving drunk when she slammed her Chevrolet Silverado into a tree. Reports added that Holstein lost control of the truck and spun before coming to rest against the tree.
Holstein refused medical transport, and was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain a lane and driving too fast for conditions.
