Charles William Jones, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly made terroristic threats to two police officers.
Reports said that officers were dispatched to Dale Street and Superba Avenue in response to Jones harassing several people. Officers said that when they arrived on scene Jones “lunged” at them in an attempt to prevent them from removing a knife from his possession.
Reports added that they noticed the smell of alcohol on Jones as he continued to act “aggressive” toward them. After being taken into custody officers said that Jones told them that he was a member of the Ghost Face Gang while going on to tell them that “It may be at the store or Target, but I’m gonna get you and you won’t walk away.”
Jones is charged with two counts of obstruction, two counts of terroristic threats and acts, participating in gang activity, public drunk and parole violation.
