Adrian Marquis Wyatt, 38 of Rome, was arrested at Pennington and Butler Streets after police spotting him riding his bicycle in the middle of the road, against the flow of traffic.
Reports said that Wyatt refused to follow commands of the officer and also had a strong smell of marijuana and alcohol.
Reports added that Wyatt resisted officers while being arrested and as a result had to be placed on the ground. They continued that at that point Wyatt put a bag of marijuana and a five dollar bill in his mouth.
A search of Wyatt also allegedly uncovered a crack pipe with crack cocaine in a cigarette box.
He is charged with riding a bicycle on roadways, probation violation, possession of drug related objects, obstruction of police, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
