A Silver Creek woman remained in jail Wednesday without bail after being accused of running from police and driving her car into a house.

Reports said that she was clocked going 78 mph in a 55 zone on Ga 101. After the officer attempted to pull her over she allegedly lost control and turned onto Preacher Smith Road. It was there she hit a fence and then a home.

Police said that she then got out of  her vehicle and tried to run on foot. She was captured after a short foot chase.

Collins is charged with felony fleeing and attempting to elude,  misdemeanor speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions.
