Authorities have arrested a woman suspected of shooting a man at a Hardy Avenue apartment on Tuesday. Reports said that Shirley Ann Wilson, 68, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Rome police are continuing to search for a female suspect who is accused of shooting a man at an apartment on Hardy Avenue. Report said that the suspect and victim were engaged in an argument when the woman fired a single shot that struck the man’s abdomen.
The victim said that the suspect, a black woman, left the area in a grey car.
The man said she left in a gray car but other people told police the woman does not have a car.
The victim was taken to Floyd Medical Center with wounds to the stomach and arm.
