An inmate at the Floyd County Jail,  Wade Carroll Hamon, 39 of Rome,  is facing additional charges after he allegedly attacked his cellmate.

Reports said that Hamon threw his mate off of his bunk Friday.

Hamon is now charged with battery and felony rioting in a penal institution.

This comes after getting additional charges of rioting in a penal institution and two counts of felony obstruction this month in January.

Wade Carroll Hamon, 38 of Rome, was arrested on Monday at the west Rome Subway after police said he knocked the window of a vehicle of a woman he knew. Reports said that the victim had a protection order against him at the time of the crime.

He was charged with aggravated stalking and is now being held in jail without bond.
