Stephen Rasheed Miller, 21 of Riverdale, was sentenced to 20 years, with 10 to serve, after pleading guilty to aggravated battery and participating in street gang activity on Monday. Miller was also banished from Floyd County.
Reports said that Miller was a professed member of the Bloods street gang. They added that Miller was a participant of a street fight on March 16, 2014 on South Broad Street at Pennington Avenue.
Prosecutors said that the fight between gangs began at the Chevy Club after a disc jockey recognized one gang over the other and did a ‘shout out’ to the Money gang.
After leaving the club the fight continued and Miller shot another man in the back.
Miller left Floyd County, but was later arrested in Clayton County.
