Calhoun police arrested two people after a tip was received that they may have methamphetamine.  Reports said that   William Kirk Mask, 44 and Melissa Kay Davis, 25, both of Rome was arrested, after officers indeed allegedly found two ounces of methamphetamine. Police said that they were also found in a vehicle that was reported stolen from Polk County.

 

Mask is charged with possession of methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, attempting to elude, reckless driving, theft by receiving motor vehicle and giving false information to an officer.

 

Davis is charged with possession of methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, giving false information to officers and theft by receiving motor vehicle
