Fourteen athletes and coaches will be soon introduced as the inaugural class of the Calhoun-Gordon County Sports Hall of Fame. The shrine was formed in April 2014 to honor locals who brought honor to the county in the field of athletics. The Class of 2015 inductees are Sharon Adamson Bass, Billy Bearden (deceased), Monyette Chattam, Charlie Culberson, Kris Durham, Mitch Frix, Pete Garigan, Freda Hunt Glass, Chip Henderson, Hal Lamb, Bob Nance, Vaughn Robbins, Diane Smith and Ray Tucker.

These individuals are true legends and we are proud they represent our community.
